Sometimes...it feels like our horses might never get to that magical place of being on the aids. (also called connected, round, packaged, engaged, on the aids, in front of the aids...)  To get a horse on the aids it is easiest to start with controlling one end of the horse first. The front of the back.  In this video you will see how I show Trudy how to "ride" Ani's shoulders with circles and shoulder in's. As a result, Ani connects to Trudy in a different balance. Most people never see a horse go through this balance change...  enjoy!
